I made this bread tonight. It is Really, REALLY GOOD.
It’s really difficult for me to get teff flour. So, I swapped sorghum flour for the teff flour and the bread had a good, nutty autumn bread flavor.
So happy to hear your modifications and that the sorghum flour worked well with the recipe. thats is fantastic. i realize its not easy for everyone to find Teff flour, so this is a great note that I am sure others will find helpful too! Thanks!!!
Oh yes, chocolate and pumpkin! This reminds me that I haven’t made pumpkin chocolate chip muffins in over a year – not acceptable!
Got to make this today. Mmm, yum! Thank you for your delicious recipe! I like that it is not overly sweet except for the chocolate chips, which make it rich. I used sorghum flour in place of teff, as well (thanks for the suggestion Shirley). That is just what I had on hand. I look forward to trying it with the apples. I think raisins would be good, too. My favorite thing is that it turned out like it was supposed to.
Yeah! I am so glad you liked it Michelle.
