noun: a small cake made from stiff, sweet dough rolled and sliced or dropped by spoonfuls on a large, flat pan (cookie sheet) and baked.
Everyone in this house cheers when cookie come out of the oven. This recipe has two of our favorites: Chocolate and Peanut Butter.
Double Chocolate Cookies with Peanut Butter Frosting {Gluten Free, Dairy Free}

Mix up a batch of the double chocolate cookies and then bake them. As they are cooling, mix up the Peanut Butter Frosting.
Drizzle the frosting over the tops of the cookies. {I used a frosting squeeze bottle}. Make them pretty {criss-cross or hatch} or go crazy and drizzle wildly.
How ever you do it, just make sure you get the frosting on those cookies. It. Is. YUMMY.

These pb and double chocolate cookies sound fantastic.
Wish there were a way for us to live closer so we could have a bakery together. Or… maybe I could be a babysitter and you could bake
Thanks for inspiring me to be a better baker and better cook. You are creative and an excellent cook / baker. It’s so helpful to have you show me new and great tasting food.
It’s so easy to get stuck in a rut after years of cooking….. and then not cooking much because of no one to eat it.
Love you lots,
Mom

I never would have thought to ice cookies with peanut butter frosting, but it seems like a fantastic idea!
God Bless the Reese Cup inventor, perhaps the originator of mixing chocolate and peanut butter. He/she has opened up us up to all sorts of great treats.
